II Kings 6
Again I read the story in the Bible, II Kings 6, where Elisha asks the Lord to open the eyes (spiritual eyes) of Gehazi, his servant.
Gehazi’s “natural eyes” says the massive Assyrian army. The army was out to get rid of Elisha. Gehazi was worried. Elisha saw with them also with his “natural eyes”. Their presence was kind of obvious. A big army after just him. But Elisha also could see with his “spiritual eyes”.
With these “spiritual eyes” he could see that this army was outnumbered. “Those that are with us, are greater than them”. Gehazi must have thought, “wow, this guy is nuts! This army is about to kill us, and he says he sees an army bigger behind him.”
Elisha prayed that God would open Gehazi’s “eyes” (spiritual eyes). Then Gehazi could see what Elisha was seeing and saw that Elisha really was talking the truth.
Read the true story for yourself, II Kings 6. Awesome
Personally, I am going through something like this right now. I received a serious letter about a financial issue that needs to be resolved within the next 20 days. I can see this with my “natural eyes”. It is real and undeniable. With my “spiritual eyes”, I know that God has said that He will provide every need. This is a serious need that needs to be provided for. The “spiritual eyes” verdict is that God will provide the need before this need within the next 20 days.
Crazy? I just know that God is supposed to provide for this. He said it in His Word, and He doesn’t lie.
What about you? You may see something with you “natural eyes”, and it is undeniably true.
What about seeing it with “spiritual eyes”?
I am sure that God has $150,000 “laying around” somewhere that He can spare.
What do you think?
With God all things are possible.
